Last weeks meal plan went well. The leftover roast dinner pie 2nd time around was even better than the first one I made. The extra leftovers were frozen, defrosted and then put in the pie with more gravy. I guess it added to the flavour. I have a roast dinner planned this week so I can get more leftovers!
The fry up yesterday was better than I had even planned. My fella went to Tesco to get me a bottle of wine and saw there was reduced things and got 2 packs of 4 black pudding for under £1 and got 16 sausages for under £1 too. Fab!
This week on the menu we have:
Monday - Spaghetti bolognese with garlic bread.
Tuesday - Leftover bolognese in wraps.
Wednesday - Spicy bacon and baked bean casserole with rice.
Thursday - Slow cooker chicken nachos.
Friday - Pizza.
Saturday - Meatball sub melts.
Sunday - A roast chicken dinner.
What are you eating this week?
Your menu makes my mouth water. I like the idea of making your leftover Sunday roast into a pie. We are mid kitchen renovations so it's microwave dinners all the way for us I'm afraid!#MMBC
ReplyDeleteI actually got around to meal planning this week. I remember making a pie from leftover Christmas dinner one year, it was a layered pie and it took forever to assemble, but the finished result was that we could cut it in slices and use it at our Boxing Day party. We don't really eat roast dinners any more though, such a shame because I love them. x
ReplyDeleteGot to love spag bol on a Monday! My kids would love the meatball sub melts
ReplyDeleteGreat meal plan, love the sound of the meatball subs on Saturday
ReplyDeleteMmmm Spag Bol in wraps sounds lovely. I'd have to cover them in cheese too.
ReplyDeleteSounds like you got some great bargains in Tesco, I love having a little nose around their reduced section.

ReplyDeleteOhhhh I love a roast dinner, but we genuinely don't have time any more!
ReplyDeleteOoh bacon casserole - noted ! I love meals that you can throw together with what's already in the fridge. Well done on the shopping bargains - I always look out for them too ! :)
ReplyDeleteSounds delicious Kim!
ReplyDeleteI have some meatballs in the freezer, I might give these subs a go!
