Holiday - Where I would like to visit! #Blogtober20

I am taking part in Blogtober20 throughout October and today's prompt is "Holiday".

It has always been a dream of mine to visit America. Stu and I have always said if we won the lottery we would go on a massive holiday and travel around America seeing all the sights.

As well as seeing all the sights I would love to visit some of the places that are featured on TV, the food shows like Diners, Drive-ins & Dives. Stu and I used to watch it on an evening in bed and it would always make us hungry.

The places we would want to visit are:

Disney World.

Disney World

I think that's just a given for most people. When I was a child my great aunt used to go with her children and grandkids and they always seem to have the best time. With having the internet and seeing programmes about it on TV it has made me want to visit Disney even more. It looks such a magical place.

The Grand Canyon.

The Grand Canyon.

This is top of Stu's list of places to visit. We've all seen the photos but I know they don't compare to being there. I have read about the The Grand Canyon Skywalk which Stu would love to do. It's a horseshoe shaped bridge with a glass walkway. Eek! You wouldn't catch me up there, I'm a little scared of heights and looking down into a canyon is not my idea of fun.

New York.

New York

I've seen it in the films and on TV, I've read news stories and blog posts about it and New York looks amazing! We would have to stop a while with all the things I would want to do. Visit the 9/11 Memorial & Museum, the Metropolitan museum of art, have a walk around Central Park, see the Empire State building, spend time in Times Square, see the Statue of Liberty, Brooklyn Bridge, the American Museum of Natural History and go on the Staten Island Ferry. We would have to sample a lot of the food and see a show.

Washington, D.C.

Washington, D.C.

Another one of Stu's top places to visit is Washington, D.C. He is all about the history and it has plenty of it there. Capitol Hill, the Lincoln Memorial, the Washington Monument and the Jefferson Memorial. I would just like to see the White House and maybe get a glimpse of the idiot Trump.

Las Vegas.

Las Vegas.

I would love to visit a proper casino and where better than Las Vegas! We could even pair it with seeing the Grand Canyon as I've just read they do helicopter rides from hotels there. Wow! I think we would have to stay at Caesar's Palace. It has to be one of the best known landmarks in Las Vegas. We could always do the whole Elvis wedding. hehehe

Where would you most like to visit in the world?
