I have seen many people on social media list something every day that they are grateful for and thought I would join in and have on my private Facebook account every day and I thought I would share here too.
I did this for the whole of last year and it has really made me realise that even on the bad day's I have something to be grateful for.
In October I was grateful for:

Today I am grateful for the 1st of the month. Got all the bills paid and did some budgeting.

Today I am grateful that Becky has decided to go with Ellie to see the Taylor Swift concert movie at the cinema. I like Taylor Swift but not enough to listen to almost 3 hours of her singing.

Today I am grateful that Ellie made it home from college, eventually! She had an early finish so went off with her friends for a wander, to a part of Scunthorpe she's never been before and got lost! I can laugh about it now but earlier I was fuming!

Today I am grateful that all my family liked the meatloaf that I made for tea. They have now decided that they do like lamb.

Today I am grateful for spending time with my dad. Ellie had a great time watching him work. He's always doing something relevant to her engineering course.

Today I am grateful that Big Brother is back on TV. I like it so far, it doesn't seen full of wannabe celebs and there's a lad from Scunthorpe.

Today I am grateful that the garden is tidy. The grass has been cut and I did some weeding.

Today I am grateful that Ellie is gaining so much confidence from being at college. She is starting to step out of her comfort zone and do things that she would never do a couple of months ago.

Today I am grateful for apple pie! My dad brought me some over! It was perfect for after our tea.

Today I am grateful that I have got more Christmas shopping done! I might actually have it all done by the beginning of November!

Today I am grateful for fleecy pj's. I was tempted to put the heating on but fleecy pj's and blankets come before the heating has to go on.

Today I am grateful for the heating! We've given in and put it on. It's the first time we've used it since getting the insulated walls and the new boiler! It's amazing!!

Today I am grateful for lots of good things in the post. Ellie's provisional license and some Christmas presents that I had ordered.

Today I am grateful for a nice cosy day at home with Ellie. We watched TikTok, did our nails, only did a little bit of housework and stayed in our pj's. Perfect!

Today I am grateful that Stu was home from work when a big parcel was delivered. There was no way I could have carried it into the house without unpacking it on the doorstep.

So many wonderful things to be grateful for! Those nails look lovely and I am impressed with how well your Christmas shopping is going. I have 1 gift bought... and zero ideas for any others.
