Last weeks meal plan went well, I only forgot to get one meal out of the freezer to defrost which wasn't bad going. I made a good dent in what was in the freezer and now can look forward to filling it up for Christmas and I started late last week getting some of the Cranberry and Apple Stuffing from Tesco. I am a sucker for stuffing on our Christmas dinner and always had a few different types.
We had a lovely meal out for my birthday. I got a turkey Christmas dinner and it was so good considering it was from Wetherspoons. My family had their usual meals, Becky had pizza, Ellie Chicken and spicy rice and Stu had a mixed grill. We had planned to get dessert but we were too full.

Thursday - Gousto Recipe - Fish Goujons With Mixed Fries And Curry Ketchup.
Friday - BBQ Chicken pasta.
Saturday - Pizza, it might be home made depending on what we are doing or coming out of the freezer.
Sunday - Toad in the hole and mashed potato.

I was kind of waiting for someone to suggest taking me out for a meal for my birthday but we ended up having a Nandos take out instead. We save Nandos for special occasions because they are so expensive...honestly, a meal in the restaurant wouldn't have cost more! I'll have to take a look at Gousto, but we have tried so many of these boxes before.
ReplyDeleteYour weekly meal plan sounds wonderful. I looked up the Gousto box to see what they offer, and wow!-- It sounds amazing. I know of a few that we have that offer the boxed meal delivery service as well. They had some great meals listed. Homemade pizza is always a win in our house.

ReplyDeleteToad in the hole is sausages cooked in Yorkshire pudding batter. It's so good, a real comfort food dish.
