(Ad - Gifted) iSpace Wellbeing Book - Have you ever had a stressor?

We have all been through a lot mentally over the last 6 months or so. I keep saying 6 months but it's probably longer since we first heard about Coronavirus.

Children especially have had a lot to deal with. The worries of loved one's getting ill, not being able to see them, not being able to go to school for such a long time and the disruption of their routines. It has no doubt affected their mental health to some degree.

There is help out there in many forms and today I am sharing a book I was sent to have a look at. “Have you ever had a stressor?” is the debut book from iSpace Wellbeing, creators of the mental and emotional wellbeing curriculum for schools and children age 4 to 13 years old.

Have you ever had a stressor book

Have you ever had a stressor? was written by iSpace Wellbeing founder, Paula Talman, a leading expert with 25 years of experience in child development and physical and mental health and a contributor at Government roundtable events hosted by the Department for Education.

This book is designed to help children learn to talk about their thoughts, feelings and worries. It gently teaches them tools and strategies to manage their emotional wellbeing, including who and how to ask for help.

Have you ever had a stressor book inside

This is such a lovely book and can help children to open up and get talking. The book is a fun read with cute illustrations. At the back of the book there are prompts and activities which are sure to help little one's. Ellie has looked through it and thought it was a fun book and Becky even looked through it too and said it would be wonderful for kids now a days as they have so much to deal with mentally.

Published just as children in the UK are reporting the lowest levels of happiness in Europe, the new book is part of a range of tools from iSpace Wellbeing designed to support children to build resilience and character and discover tools that will help them to manage their mental health and wellbeing for life.

The book currently costs £9.99 and can be purchased from the iSpace Wellbeing website.

I was sent this book free of charge in exchange for this blog post.

  1. This looks great. It makes me sad how children are taking on board so much stress now.
