If I could turn back time - A collection of clocks. #Blogtober20

I am taking part in Blogtober20 throughout October and today's prompt is "If I could turn back time".

If I could turn back time I don't think I would. What has happened in our past makes us how who we are today. There are times when I think that life would be so different if certain things didn't happen or if I chose something different but things are the way they are and I am happy with that.

A big alarm clock in someones hands

Thinking about time got me thinking about clocks and different one's that are out there to buy. When I think of a clock I just think of circular one's but they really do come in all shapes and sizes.

I could imagine the Bonie Wall Clock from Wayfair (£59.99) in my bathroom. My bathroom has grey with yellow accessories and this would go perfectly well plus I've always wanted a cuckoo clock and a clock in the bathroom we don't have one and I am always shouting what time is it when I'm in the bath.

A yellow cuckoo clock and a clock on a notice board

The Clock Notice Board from Dunelm (£25.00) caught my eye. It would be great for the kitchen. It would keep the family organised with the notice and chalk board which would be great to put the weekly meal plan on. I do keep meaning to get a chalk board for the kitchen but never get around to it.

For the living room I would love a photo frame clock. I do have lots of photos spotted around the room but I would love one like the one I saw one the VonHaus website (£12.99). It would be a great excuse to get some more photos on the wall.

A clock surrounded by photos and a Friends the TV show clock.

Becky loves anything to do with Friends, the TV show and her favourite colour is green so I think she would like the Friends Clock from Argos (£8.00). I think it is a great price and it might be something to add to her Christmas list.

I love the Adamaris Silent Wall Clock from Wayfair (£85.00) but it is a bit on the pricey side. It matches our bedroom decor and I love the fact that it is silent. I hate a ticking clock. We did have one in the bedroom but I kept taking the batteries out as the ticking would drive me insane when I was drifting off to sleep.

A square purple clock and a clock made from a vinyl record in an anime design.

Ellie is crazy about anything Japanese, especially anime and I found this 12-Inch Vinyl Record Wall Clock on Amazon (£23.99). It is certainly something a little different with it being made out of a vinyl record.

Do you like any of these clocks?

  4. Fab choices. I really want a cuckoo clock! So I've been browsing for those recently. When I worked in care I used to have a client who had a beautiful antique grandfather clock, I used to love listening to the chimes. I would love one of those too! xx
