Last weeks meal plan went well. We ate just about everything. The new Turkey Twizzlers were good but I'm not sure they were as good as I remember from years ago but the kids enjoyed them and I will get them again. The Richmond Family Sausage Casserole ready meal was so good. It says it serves 4 but it only served 3 of us. Stu, Becky and myself. Ellie didn't fancy it so she just had sausages and mash. I didn't cook the roast dinner yesterday, that has been bumped to today. I do love a roast dinner on a Monday. I get to cook it throughout the day in my own time and on a Monday my family always come in so hungry.
This is what we're eating this week:
Monday - A roast turkey dinner.
Tuesday - Leftovers from the roast dinner. I will either put it them in a pie or make bubble and squeak.
Wednesday - Pizza fries. We usually have it with the lattice fries but it turns out Sainsbury's don't sell them. Eesh!
Thursday - Creamy sausage pasta.
Friday - Pizza.
Saturday - Burgers in buns with corn on the cob.
Sunday - Some sort of casserole cooked in the slow cooker.

Ooh we had corn on the cob last week and everyone loved it - I need to buy some more ! Sounds like a fab week of recipes :)

ReplyDeleteI have a pork roast in the crock pot right now and will make up some rice and veggies to go with it. Tomorrow night Alec wants to make the salad he prepared at school last week complete with his own dressing. I love that he's so eager to cook for us! Then we hope to have beef stroganoff, BLT sandwiches, and maybe a homemade pizza night on Friday.
