Week 42 of #Project365 15th - 21st October. A photo every day for a year!

Finally half term is here. I am very glad of it. This last week was long. I think it's because the last few days have been gloomy and wet. Next weeks weather isn't looking much better but we won't have to be up at the crack of dawn, well Ellie and I won't and we have some plans.

This past week has been a good one. The highlight of it was getting my Christmas food shop delivery booked with Asda. That's one less thing to worry about. Becky has started her driving lessons and the first one went brilliantly and Ellie is doing really well with her mock exams.

Now for a photo every day!

Burgers and Christmas music on the TV
Premium Bonds website
A desk and the light on
Raining outside and the cupboard under the stairs

288/365 - 15th October
Burgers and fries for tea. Ellie put the burgers together and made me take a photo as they looked so good.

289/365 - 16th October
Christmas music is on one of the music channels on the TV which has made me so happy. I know, I know, I will be sick of it come Christmas. lol

290/365 - 17th October
My dad won some money with his Premium Bonds and gave the girls £25 each to get them started with it. We set them up on Monday and they're all set for Novembers draw. Fingers crossed they win something eventually.

291/365 - 18th October
Becky finally got her desk put together after buying it this time last month. It took her hours and Stu ended up helping her but it's done and it looks fantastic. She said she wants lots of pretty desk things for Christmas so that has helped me out.

292/365 - 19th October
I am having to switch the living room light on earlier and earlier each day and Thursday and yesterday it was on all day as it was so dark in here. Ugh.

293/365 - 20th October
It was a wet and grey day. I was out in the morning and got soaked so when I got in I had a hot bath and put my pj's on. It was lovely.

294/365 - 21st October
We have the gas safety check next week and the man needs to be in to see the boiler so the annual tidying of the cupboard of doom happened. It didn't actually take me too long but tell me who needs 67 reusable bags for life? That's how many we had! I've kept some and the rest have gone into the garage. I'm sure they'll come in for something.

  1. Sounds like you had a lovely week. Well done to your dad on the premium bonds, hope Becky and Ellie have a win too!
Love Becky's desk, I like lots of pretty things to look at on mine too, hehe.
The burgers look yummy, and well done on tidying the cupboard of doom haha! That reminds me, I need to have a sort through our kitchen junk drawer, it hardly shuts now! xx

  3. Don't switch those lights on! LOL. I saw a tik tok of a mum who took out all the bulbs and replaced them with the press lights that can stick to the walls. Her kids weren't impressed.

  4. I reckon I might not be far off that number of reusable jute style bags. I've got 3 or 4 bags of them (now in the car boot because the OH keeps having random blitz clear outs and I've got nowhere to store them indoors. I need to clear out the larder floor again - will take ages to get through everything there, so I can get a stand for storage of water bottles but also have something to store bags. They're so useful. But my car boot is just full of everything that there's no storage for in the house

  5. Now that you've gotten rid of all those bags, you gonna need some!

  7. You are very organised booking your Christmas slot. We actually picked up a frozen turkey this week to take advantage of an offer. Thankfully we have a big chest freezer

  8. You're super organised with Christmas. I've only done the gifts that needed posting overseas. Hope Becky is enjoying her driving lessons. How lovely of your dad to share his Premium bonds win

  9. Those burgers do look good. Well done to your dad on his Premium Bonds win and how lovely to set the girls up with some. Becky’s desk looks great. I had to laugh at the 67 bags for life. We have multiple ‘cupboards of doom’ and I’m sure we have a similar number of bags for life! #project365
